Mil1394 Single Node Repeater Overview

The Mil1394 Single Node Repeater (FW-MIL-1CH3-R-400) is a 3-port transformer-coupled, S200β and S400β capable repeater/hub. Its small form factor provides both a cost and space efficient solution, enabling one or more repeaters to create a daisy-chained network to extend cable distances. Even more, multiple repeaters/hubs may be used to create a scalable tree topology (see our Mil1394 Dual Quad-Port Repeater/Hub).

The Mil1394 Single Node Repeater is provided off-the-shelf with vertical connectors, but may be configured with right-angle connectors for applications with limited vertical space (stacked Repeaters). Additionally, if S100β operation is required, active transformers that support S100β and S200β operation can be installed. We happily offer other configuration options to meet your requirements such as optional activity indicator (LED) and/or enclosing the Mil1394 Single Node Repeater by request.
